About clinic

Features

The Clinic Komorie is located just off the Hiroden city train.

Our clinic has been specialized in child and adult psychiatry, and psychiatric rehabilitation, which is situated within seven minutes by walk from the south exit of JR Hiroshima Station.

The first clinic is originally located in Aki Ward, Hiroshima City, and since its opening in 1965, we have been working with the local community for half a century and playing a part in regional care as a psychiatric institution.

We regard polite communications as the center of our medical services, and will continue to contribute to the improvement and development of regional medical care.

Our approach

Our hospital is a clinic that offers pharmacotherapy and psychotherapeutic intervention ranging from infants to adolescents, adults, the elderly, and people with a multicultural background. From infants to the elderly and people with multicultural backgrounds, we offer flexible engagement from a life cycle perspective.

1.Individualized treatment
We will talk with patients and their families thoroughly and provide necessary medical care according to the situation of each patient.

2.Well-balanced treatment
We will provide the most appropriate medical treatment with psychosocial interventions while keeping the amount of medicines to a minimum and listening to the needs of the patient and his/her family.

3.Early intervention is recommended
Generally, by finding the mental illness early and starting treatment, we can prevent the deterioration, chronicity and social withdrawal of the illness. We recommend starting treatment as early as possible.

4.Well-trained doctor
Our doctors have been trained well under various academic and clinical associations, and qualified as specialties in a wide variety of treatment.

5.Various programs
We are preparing various programs such as psychotherapy and group therapy.

Introduction of our clinic

The Clinic Komorie is located just off the Hiroden city train.

From Hiroshima Station South Exit, go through the underground plaza in front of the station, take Exit 9 and walk for 7 minutes (550m). By bus, it is just across the junction from the "Inaricho" bus stop. It is located between Hiroshima Station and the downtown area.

The traffic is heavy, so please be careful.
There is a "Family Mart" on the first floor of the building at the corner of the junction.
"Komorie" is on the 7th floor.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask the staff.

The staff will contact you before the examination, so please wait a moment.

We value communication and try to provide medical treatment that gives you a sense of security and trust.

For the symptoms in the fields of psychosomatic medicine and psychiatry, the therapist provides various techniques to psychologically work (psychotherapy), aiming to improve the symptoms and daily lives of the patients.
If necessary, drug therapy and lifestyle therapy may be offered together.

Not only one-on-one and parent-child interviews, but also family therapy on a family basis and group psychotherapy performed by a group of about 10 people, including staff such as doctors and psychologists.

We are also planning a parent training program for parents and a program for children to improve their social adaptability.

Komorie has a large playroom. Through play, children not only express the inside of the mind to the outside, but also emotionally interact with others, adjust their minds, and try to make contact with the outside world.

The voice of director

I trained in neurosurgery, neurology, and critical care department, and later engaged in psychiatric general practice, education, biological research, and psychotherapy. Psychiatric care is required in a wide range of situations from child to elderly, perinatal period, and foreign residents. Hiroshima Station is designated as a priority area for redevelopment and is expected to contribute to the revitalization of the international peace city. I would like to contribute to the development of psychiatric care in the community.
